Jiro is almost five months old and I took him to the groomers for the first time today. I searched all over the internet and finally came across the Spotted Dog Pet Grooming. Not only were they conveniently located (five minutes away from my house) but they received raving reviews from customers. I dropped him off at 8:00 am that morning and it took about two and a half hours to get him groomed. I didn’t even recognize him when I picked him up. I was very happy with the staff and the way the treated Jiro. I scheduled his next appointment before I left.

My parents have two adult terrier/chihuhua mix dogs, Isaiah and Rusty, so I thought it would be a great idea for Jiro to play with them. Isaiah was not too fond about having another dog in his territory but that didn’t stop Jiro from trying to make a new friend. 🙂

Jiro is a Japanese name for “second son” or “second born”. We already have a son and since Jiro would be the second “son” then the name fit perfectly. Also, my husband loved watching Kikaida as a kid growing where Jiro would turn into Kikaida to save the world from evil monsters.

Jiro is finally home! We’re excited to have a puppy and all we want to do is play with him. Unfortunately, all he wants to do is sleep.

Jiro was born at a barn in Snohomish, WA on October 7, 2015. There were three pups in his liter and we chose him. We couldn’t resist his beautiful blue eyes.

We visited him every Sunday for eight weeks until we could bring him home. He seemed to be the most hyper pup in the liter. While his brothers and sisters were sleeping in their soon to be owner’s arms; Jiro was active and trying to jump off our laps. We picked a winner!!!

Finally, we were able to bring him home on December 6, 2015.
